Our Commitment to Your Privacy
At Montanari Group we value our customers and are committed to protecting your privacy. We collect customer information on our website at Luminaire.com (our Website) in an effort to improve your shopping experience and to communicate with you about our unique offering of products and design services. We have developed this Privacy Policy to inform you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information we receive from users of our Website. Our California Privacy Notice also applies to information we collect from California visitors to our showrooms.

Information We Collect
Montanari Group classifies personal information as any information that identifies, relates to, describes, is capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular consumer, or derived from such information.

Depending on your interactions with Luminaire, we collect and use different types of personal information from visitors, customers, prospective customers and agents. When you place an order, we need to know your name, e-mail address, billing address and credit card number, with expiration date and security code. This allows us to process and fulfill your order quickly and confidently provide better customer support. We also maintain a record of your purchases online and in our showrooms. We may acquire from a third-party potential customer names and mailing addresses for select postal mailings and online marketing campaigns. From time to time we may contract with a third party to assist us in maintaining and managing our customer database, to expedite notifications of special events and promotions and to communicate with our customers. We do not authorize any third parties to make any other use of your information. We collect name, contact information, and video images from security cameras, in some of our showrooms.

How We Use Personal Information
We use personal information to:

present you with information through our Website and email services;
process orders;
maintain and improve our Website;
respond to your requests and provide customer service, including responding to any problems that may arise, such as difficulties in navigating our Website or accessing certain features;
personalize or display advertisements to you on third-party platforms;
improve our services or offerings; and
fulfill our legal or contractual obligations to you.
As with transactions elsewhere, when you purchase products, services, or programs via one of our Website, your credit card company will also retain certain information regarding your purchase. We will not otherwise provide any personal data to your credit card company without your permission.

We may share the information collected with joint venture participants, affiliates, agents, current or prospective business participants, businesses under common control, and third-party businesses or service providers participating in administering our programs or services, and to those providing business functions such as technical support, customer service, marketing assistance, etc. These businesses will only have access to information as necessary to perform their functions and to the extent permitted by law.

In the event of the sale or transfer of our business to a third-party buyer, including in the event of bankruptcy or liquidation, we may, as necessary, share your data with the buyer or transferee.

In the event that we have to collect on a debt owed to us by you, we may, as necessary, share your information with an attorney, collection agency or a court of law to enforce our rights and collect what is owed.

Under certain circumstances, we may be obligated or compelled to disclose your personal information: when required by law, court order or government agency, or when disclosing such information is reasonably required to protect the company, its property, the Website, or the safety of visitors or others.

Security
To protect your privacy and security, prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy and ensure correct use of information, we employ reasonable and current Internet security methods and technologies. We use Secure Sockets Layer (“SSL”), the current industry-standard encryption protocol, for all financial transactions through this Web Site, and to protect your personal information online. While we incorporate standard industry practices internally and with our services providers, which we believe is sufficient for the information involved, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. Any information that you provide to us via email should be treated with extra caution, as we cannot control the level of security available through email providers.
